Gaṇeśa Sūktam – Ṛg Veda
A comprehensive course to learn the very special and powerful Gaṇeśa Sūktam, a mantra from the Ṛg Veda recited to invoke Gaṇapati, bringing forth our best inner resources to work through obstacles on our spiritual path. The first 9 mantras of this hymn are a prayer to Indra, who strengthens our subtle body to receive the knowledge, the Truth.
How this course works
This course is divided into 12 lessons. It is recommended to go through at the most three lessons per week for effective learning. This means it should take you 5 weeks to learn to practice this mantra ON YOUR OWN! (Of course, you are always free to take as long as you like at your own pace.)
Each lesson takes you through the recitation and meaning of the hymn, helping you to understand the significance of this mantra. It also helps you at the same time, step by step, to build your own, personal home veda recitation practice. You will be able to understand all the Vedic phonetics in each of the 12 mantras in a systematic way, ensuring you have all the information usually transmitted through oral tradition. Through careful study, listening and practice, you will be able to learn this mantra accurately.
