Dakṣiṇāmūrti stotram – Śiva as teacher

An incarnation of Lord ŚivaDakṣiṇāmūrti is considered the divine and ultimate Guru. Śiva as Dakṣiṇāmurti is presented as the source of all knowledge. The vigraha (form) is visualised to create the right “mood” in the devotee. These visualisation verses are so descriptive that sculptors use them to create the vigraha. This course provides all the resources to learn this stotram in a non-singing way, honouring the chandas of the verses and maintaining the integrity of the Sanskrit language (which singing can potentially skew).
